Finished

I have finally finished this one. It doesnt look much different lol but now it has binding and is quilted together :) If youre interested in some small projects i found this blog with some awesome tutes ... http://ayumills.blogspot.com/ She has very detailed instructions as well as awesome pics! Quilting....

So as you have seen I am attempting to quilt, I have really enjoyed it so far. I have even put together another quilt top this time using the Attic window block. It is race theme for my son. I was curious to know if you ever have the perfect fabric but dont want to cut into it? I feel like if I cut it I might mess it up and it makes me nervous to work with any of my "pretty" fabric. Well thought I would see what you guys thought, heres a pic of the newer quilt not quilted yet.

Second attempt at quilting

So here is my second attempt at quilting. I must say I am very pleased with the outcome. It could have been better but its a lot better than the last. Its for the new addition to our family due in July. :)

New Rugs

Here are the latest rugs that I have made, sorry its been sop long but between the snow and the beautiful days it makes it hard to get on the computer. Anyway here are the pics let me know what you think!



Blues Scarf

I have been slacking with my crafts lately. This is my blues scarf I have been working on for a while it is still a work in progress however it is so soft and almost done. I just love the way the colors blend together. Let me know what you think!



Woven Rug

I am working on a woven rug. I used to use cardboard boxes and cut them up and use them as looms but my dad built me a loom this past week for me to (re) begin my weaving adventures on. I will post pic's soon. I am extreemly excited to see how it will come out being from a sturdy loom instead of a cardboard box lol. Well If you are looking to weave let me know and I can give you some little tips. I will post pics later for you to see my work in progress and my loom.

Holidays

The holiday season is approaching and I would like to recommend a few holiday crafts. Since I love to recycle as much as possible I will try to post "green" holiday crafts.

1. Cork wreath
